My new, fresh OC. First I’ve made in over 4 years, ho it’s been long since this shit started. I figured I needed a “mascot” for my art, but one that isn’t trying to represent me as a person. But rather, an actually fun character I can enjoy myself with and play around with. I probably won’t give her a story or anything big like that, but I entertain the thoughts of a personality and such. 

She’s a gymnast, a strong but flexible earth pony who’s quite competitive in the more ridiculous and niche types of athletic sports. Instead of galloping the fastest or bucking the strongest, she focuses on precision, balance and as previously mentioned, flexibility. Her cutiemark specifically is a pair of gymnastic rings. I dearly hope that came across, I tried to make them as simple yet identifiable as possible, but from afar it might still be a little tricky. Hell without context somebody might think it’s a pair of grenade pins, damn. I might improve it later down the line. 

Overall just really happy about how she turned out. I tried to let go of all my doubts and personal restrictions, just to try and make the best possible horse for me. She’s even better than I expected, and I think she visually represents my art rather well.

On another site, there was some confusion about what she was wearing around her thighs. I figure it's probably best if I paste the explanation here as well!

IRL they’re usually thinner and used under skirts, but in this case I made them thicker and out of the same material as the jacket (synthetic leather if it’s good ol’ Equestria). That way they’d go together. I suppose an angle to show this properly would’ve been fitting for a ref, but the potential confusion didn’t cross my mind despite the odd concept.
